The next Vegan Drinks Philly event will again be held at Horizons (611 S. 7th St) on 5.18.09 from 5:30 to 9:30 pm!
We will again have the whole restaurant open exclusively for the event. As always, ALL are welcome to attend! Vegan, vegetarian, and veg-curious alike ;)
Thanks to all who weathered the storm and made it out to the last event. Hopefully even more people can make it out to this one!
People from all walks of life and all ages and background have come out to show their support and celebrate life without animal exploitation. Relationships and organization amongst the Philadelphia animal rights/vegan/vegetarian movement has occurred along the way.
Please join us again on 5.18.09 and bring your friends. Through continuing this event and building strong bonds as a group, we really can make a change for human health, the environment, and mostly importantly ALL sentient beings.
So come out, have a drink, eat great food and meet like-minded individuals. Most importantly, spread the word!! Stay tuned as new, exciting details about this next event have yet to be revealed ;)

Various other events are taking place especially concerning helping animals held as prisoners at the Philadelphia Zoo and those forced to perform at the Ringling Bros Circus coming to town this May. The opening night for The Cruelest Show on Earth will take place on May 13th and there will be a huge demonstration against it! Please join if you can!!! Don't forget, Vegan Drinks Philly will be taking place again this Monday, 4.20.09, from 5:30 to 9:30! This will be our third event and Horizons has been more than generous enough to allow us to again take over the ENTIRE restaurant. Last time was a huge success and if we want to keep this momentum going, we need to support it. All you have to do is show up!
Remember, this event is open to ALL, vegans, vegetarian, and veg-curious alike. The purpose of the event is to create a cohesive, organized group of individuals that can connect and learn from each other to start a real movement in Philadelphia. As a group of individuals, we are representing one of the most important issues of our time. By joining together, just think of the impact we can have on human health, the environment, and the lives of animals around the world!
So, let's keep this going. Many people that have attended past Vegan Drinks Philly events have already made new friends, learned more about a vegan lifestyle, and organized local events to get active for the cause. Most importantly, we have the opportunity to eat great food, kick back a few drinks, and celebrate life without animal exploitation!
Even if you can't make it to this event, be sure and spread the word. The more people that get involved, the more people are going to take notice ;)
