This is just a reminder to everyone to purchase your tickets for VDP before Nov. 22nd. You can purchase your tickets at vegandrinksphilly.com. Keep in mind this is actually a ticket-less event. When you purchase your "ticket," it puts your name on the list for when you arrive. The price of the tickets includes tax and gratuity. After the 22nd, if there are any spaces left, I will notify everyone and if you're still interested in coming, you can pay cash at the door.

This is bound to be an exciting event! C'mon, it's apparently THE BIGGEST PARTY NIGHT OF THE YEAR! Or so I hear. There's a karaoke machine setup too! If you were at the 4th of July event, you remember how much fun that was ;)

Join CARE for the 5th Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner at SuTao Café featuring a delicious feast with items not usually served. Cost is $22 for nonmembers/$20 for members (join using form on page 3).

Prepayment is required by Friday, November 20. Please pay early to guarantee your spot. Send a check to CARE including your contact information (e-mail/ phone) for confirmation purposes or e-mail care@care4animals.org to pay online.

In case you've been under a rock, Friends of Animals now has an active presence in Philly with their PA chapter!

The Pennsylvania Chapter is committed to addressing animal rights issues in Philadelphia and its suburbs, and to supporting the efforts of its international parent, Friends of Animals.

Friends of Animals is a non-profit animal advocacy organization, incorporated in the state of New York since 1957. Friends of Animals works to cultivate a respectful view of nonhuman animals, free-living and domesticated. Our goal is to free animals from cruelty and institutionalized exploitation around the world.

The campaigns of the Pennsylvania Chapter will include vegan outreach programs, protecting deer in the Valley Forge National Park and anywhere their lives are threatened, and working to end exploitative industries and activities. We hope you will join us.
